I estimate that 80% of the notes I take are never looked at again. Another 10% are reviewed occasionally. But the notes in the last 10% are critical. If I could predict which notes were going to end up in that last 10% it would save me so much time.

There's a note that reads, "Use What You Have" pinned to the bulletin board above my desk. It's meant to remind me to, well, use what I have. This is great advice, except it occurred to me that I have too many things already. Not as helpful that way.
